This modern rock and groove band out of Utah is sure to attract listeners that are into bands and artists like Garbage, Poe and The Cranberries. Velvet Alex is a band that has taken some of the coolest ideas from the 80's new wave scene and added the newer styles of killer house samples, break beats and heavy guitars to create their own unique mixture of power pop. All the members of this band are great songwriters that continue to bring excellent songs to the table. Singer Cameo Bown weaves insightful lyrics with catchy melodic hooks that beckon the listener to sing along.
