Mary Kelly began her musical career in her home state
of Wisconsin. She left home at the age of 19, and headed to Los Angeles.
She began performing in coffee houses throughout L.A. and in 1991 put out
her first CD, "Lonely Town". Mary is an artist who is
interested and willing to share her experience of life through her songs.
She tells personal stories with catchy melodies and a dreamy voice.
Her song-writing breezes through a folk based acoustic music into a more
electric band sound similar to artists like Kd Lang and Jewel. Mary
incorporates her talents as pianist, guitarist and accordion player with
this album entitled "Untied". |
