A native of Brooklyn New York, singer-songwriter Andrew
Kerr definitely has that New York in your face attitude towards
songwriting. Lyrically Andrew has the ability to tell vivid personal
stories without making them sound sappy. In many of his songs he
approaches his lyrics with a hilarious wit, poking fun at growing up
wanting to be a white rap star, hanging out and drinking beers with
Buddha, and even singing about a fan letter addressed to Brittany Spears.
That particular song titled, Don't Forget Your Fans, won first place in
the 2001 USA Songwriting contest.
Andrew is an amazingly high energy performer who tours the US constantly.
He is sure to capture the attention of audiences throughout the country
and have himself quite a career.
